ARBU works with BAF

The Umhlathuze Local municipality has been affected by the absence of recreational beach users from the local tourism industry.

The Zululand Chamber of commerce and Industry also supports the BAF (Beach Access Forum) which will be looking at all aspects of beach access within the Umhlathuze local municipality., focusing on the local and domestic tourism associated with beach access.

ARBU will be supporting the BAF, and learning from the process followed by the Beach access forum.

These issues of beach access are high;y charged, and the views are very divergent, from total preservation to full scale consumption and total urbanization of the coast line.

So we are in for some hard work and plenty of PR style work with public perception management issues.
